The Fourth Dimension

You should watch this awesome math film called: Dimensions. It is a very well-made film created by a few really smart French guys with sweet computer graphics, killer soundtrack, and detailed explanations of some crazy math topics. The first 4 parts of this 9-part film starts you off with basic geometric concepts (in part 1) and takes you on a journey into the 4th dimension (parts 3-4). Part 1 is a bit slow-paced for some, but it is necessary to watch because it builds a base that you need to understand the rest of the movie. The topics in this movie get pretty complex and I think you probably need to have a PhD in math to totally understand everything, but the movie does an awesome job of explaining things simply enough for almost anyone to have a fairly good understanding of what is going on. Another cool thing about this film is that it is free to watch and download and is available in a bunch of different languages!
